I lost you
How could I taken something so beautiful, and cheapen it
My heart is breaking, crying in my sleep
Oh how my heart bleeds.
Lingering pain in my heart and soul, never parting
I just got carried away, becoming something I wasn’t,
Now I hold my head down in shame.
Hindsight is twenty-twenty so they say.
Remembering how much in love you were with me.
I knew it I heard it in your voice.
I knew something wasn’t right
I changed in your heart.
I meant no disrespect
My impropriate behavior I will never forget, or forgive.
Flying on lonely wings
Where the angels sing
I miss her so much, she is the greatest poet ever read.
Time to cry in silence
That’s where a mans broken heart cries
In silence.
