It’s crying time in the aisles of this dusty shop
Time to view memories that skitter and hop
Don’t want to buy nothin’, just want to look
Ponderous wandering through unread books
Closing the doors and shutting down registers
Suicide blonde, right on the ledge! It’s her!
Walk to the windows and shutter them tight
You’ll want to be alone in this blooming night
You’ll feel so much better about all this tomorrow
If not, I’ve got a twelve gauge you can borrow
Travel the pathways through fragmented firing
Synopses like grenade explosions from wiring
Blackness like velvet or just velvet cake
Wrap it close around you so it’s harder to wake
It’s crying time in the aisles of this dusty shop
To many memories that skitter and hop
