Slowly she turns,
                            her smile radiant.
Watch the crinkles in her eyes,
the light that shines grows
tendril webs that cross the air,
when that mesmerizing grins
flow from her soul,
touching her nearby space.

Would that I could bask
like the clouds kiss the blue skies.
Would that I could take of her warmth
and distil that wonder
__ that wonder she never lost__
Will all her ones be happy as she is.
Will I ever know what makes her glow

Sometimes I wish on
the gossamer threads
running across the skeins
of our minds.
Sometimes the thought coils
in my being,
who touches that glow
is touched     changed
__ as those who see the light__
Dank dark passages
seem to be the ear
of the mind…

Should she keep
all that she may be
to herself?
Nay__ hers is a wonder,
hers is a joy to share,
                               it is bliss,
                                            to bask in it
is not to die.

Be that, Rejeanne stays
in my mind
as the glissando of
felt ice
across the expanse
of the heart.
