Click hereAt the corner, she stood and smiled,
High heels, short skirt, a flimsy shirt.
"Hi darling, want a date tonight?
A hundred bucks, I’ll drive you wild."
Behind some trees, her knees in dirt
She sucked my cock, she took its pride.
I loved this poem, short, to the point, entirely unpretentious!
The previous comment was head on (excuse the pun); this poem expresses succinctly the "business relationship" between two people selling/buying sex, with an emphasis on power rather than sensuality. I liked it.
..., well (what would be the proper comparison?), waiting in supermarket check-out line. But then, this was the point of this poem, wasn't it? A succinct description of the emotional emptiness that accompanies seeking the services of a prostitute, the fact that the primary motive might not be sexual at all, but a question of social hierarchie (as exemplified by the financial transaction) and submission ('hehind some trees, her knees in dirt'). I read this poem several times, and the more often I read it, the more I liked and appreciated it, with its subtle and not-so-subtle messages. Vie_secrete, really nicely done!
