If you want to go I will not stop you.
You’re a big girl and can do what you desire.
I will not make you say with me.
I will not continue to raise your ire.

I tried my best and did what it was,
I thought I was supposed to do.
If that is not enough to make us work,
I will no longer seek attention from you.

I will not be like Him,
I will not keep you caged and chained.
I will not make you stay where you are not happy,
I will not cause you pain.

You don’t have to tell me the reason.
You do not have to tell me why.
Whether due to work, or life, or simple fate,
I no longer make your spirit fly.

Please do not feel guilty,
Please do not hate what you’ve done.
Love, like the tides, ebbs and flows,
And not every maid’s heart can be won.

If you want to go then do it now,
And never turn or look behind.
If you want to go, then just go,
And seek the world you were meant to find.
