The world is a vast plain of pain
With evil always calling your name
The faces of evil, numerous and all around
Escape both sight and sound
In the middle of the plain, a lost boy sits and waits
Waits for his inevitable fate
Darkness shrouds him and he hears a voice
“Go and do my bidding, you have no choice”
“But I do have a choice, I have my own mind”
“I have a God and you are not mine”
“My God is pure, strong, and wise”
“He is always open to advise”
“You are tainted, weak, and a stupid thing”
“You will never control my being”
Enraged the apparition spoke
“You God is nothing, he is a hoax”
“A fake, a nothing, a wannabe deity”
“I am not alone in my decree”
“I have minions all over the world”
“Around my finger I have them twirled”
“They will obey me to any extent”
“They won’t abandon me at any event”
The boy, standing strong, spoke again
“You are wrong you purveyor of sin”
“You have no grasp on those people you lead”
“You could never give them what they need”
The evil spoke, chuckling softly
“You think your God is stronger than me?”
“Why do you think you were sitting here?”
“Alone, scared, over taken with fear”
“Your God doesn’t want you; He left you for me”
“Its so obvious, don’t you see?”
“No, its you who doesn’t see”
The young man perceived
“You think I stand in isolation”
“But in your perceptions you should have shown procrastination”
“I am not alone, I have God at my side”
“You were deceived by your pride”
A voice that took up the empty space spoke
“You have been defeated you evil bloke”
“You think you are powerful but you are nothing”
“I will take no pity on you in my sentencing”
“Its home for you devil-creature”
“Never leaving is your main feature”
“Good Bye Satan. You have been crushed”
Beelzebub spoke, his voice flushed
“But the child was so weak”
“Don’t even speak”
The boy replied
“I am never weak with God at my side”
