A dusty town.
Tumbleweed
I met a shabby nun
Outside a small cantina.
I laughed and said
“Be careful sister.
Your god of love and peace
Might not protect you
In this wicked quarter.”
She showed no fear
And pulled from satin bag
A tiny bundle
Swaddled in white linen.
“A sacred relic?”
“A good luck charm,” she said.
As linen fell away
Revelation
Cupped in her hand
A dayglow plastic
Baby Jesus Butt Plug™.
