I have cried until I shivered
I have screamed at people
  not there
& have entertained
dark thoughts I am far too comfortable with
& over which I have no control

I would not answer the door
I would not lift the phone
I crushed a part of me
  to powder & burned it
  to ash
& I visit it from time to time

Sometimes I see you
Or hear you voice
& my breath catches in my throat

Relating to the dark thoughts

I have been in a dark place before, thankfully not now.

I really like this

It leaves me with a bit of a haunted feeling.
