Of all things to desire
The smell of you
The one your body makes
When you are sleeping
The scent of your scalp
As your mind makes sense
Of all the madness in a day
Those moments I have had
To lay next to you
Held you as your body twitched
In some slumbering dance
Your head tucked
In the crook of my neck
And my nose filled
With touches of sweet corn maze
That sweet sleeping smell of you
