I wake up everyday
To a face smiling at me
Smiling behind the cascading rays
Of the morning sun
Blinking down at me
With the eyes matching the angels'
That resides up in the heavens
Reminding me to live.
This air around me
Carries a scent of you
The wonderful feeling of your presence
Even when you are far away from me
I can still hear your heartbeat
Humming it like a tune
The song that your heart sings
Reminding me to live.
