cascading thoughts that pool in gentle ring round emptiness
bright and cold in measure held upon a finger
glinting traces light and dark take graceful flight unbound
in chase to brush my lips they long to linger

of beaten threads in silver mined the mountains of the moon
with sparks of burning gold wed and captured
surrounded veils of darkness pierced in moment not too soon
held in embrace unfathomed depths enraptured

cradled touch of silk in folds the molten brand lies frozen
tome withstanding age's march bold testimony
drawn and hardened borne from nothingness in heart be woven
whispering worn caresses; ring upon a finger
