it is a risk
     always
to show yourself
your SELF
your SOUL
your YOU

to someone else

too much power
not enough protection

it's scary
it might hurt
rejection always hurts

you can't unbe yourself
you should never have to

"they" say the only person you
can count on is yourself
everyone else will let you down
no one is trustworthy
no one can be trusted with your YOU except you

but do you trust you?
that is the question
"stranger things on heaven and earth,
Horatio"
but none stranger than trust

trust a stranger - safer that way
trust no one - lonely that way
trust yourself - good luck with that
trust in God - don't make me laugh

trust is a risk
if you're not a gambler it's hard
maybe too hard
maybe impossible

but maybe
may -
be -
(not unbe)
you can learn to trust and not unbe

if you love you
maybe someone else can too
maybe your YOU is more lovable than you thought
trust your instincts
