shimmering
water
she rises,
the moon
her skin,
her eyes
the stars,
her hair
spider's silk
dewy with
promises
of union;
her mouth
opens and
you swim
in its ocean
alongside
her babies,
crocodilian
jaws smiling
as she sinks
back into
the stream.
