Alcohol sloshing in my brain
Sliding through my system
Every cell, every muscle
Consumed by the poison
Heightening the experience.
Show Time (Are you people ready to Rock?)
Music pounds, people jump
The second row from the stage
Is hot and sweaty
The lead singer shouts
The response is deafening.
Encore
Struggling to keep balance
A combination
Of Intoxication
And jostling of the crowd
Composure weakens.
Angel
Out of nowhere, a hand
On my thigh from behind
Lands, surprising.
Another on my waist
I weaken, heart pounding
The sounds of the band
Surround me.
Reaching back I touch her
Squeeze her behind me
Her head near my neck
Her lips on my ear
She breathes heavily
I can tell she’s smiling
As my hands explore her
Still a mystery standing behind.
Did she speak? Her breath
Woven into some word
The music pounds
She grinds and moves in rhythm
Her body hot, her sweetness
I long for more
I pull her in front of me
My hands on her thighs
Her face still hidden
Last song. No time.
Tables turned, I breathe
On her neck, getting bolder
Her bare shoulder
Caresses my chin.
We’re sweating, forgetting
The hundreds of fans
Around us.
She tilts her head back
My tongue darts across her neck
Bass pounds, crescendo swells
Her ear is explored
By my mouth; I can’t take it
She squirms and dances
My teeth come down
On her lobe, she jumps
With excitement
All the while my arm is raised
In a ‘rock on’ position.
It’s amazing.
It’s finished.
Aftermath (?)
She vanishes.
My responsive skills
Weakened by poison
I stumble outside
A crowd has gathered
the night air refreshes
My flesh.
I search, vision blurred
Two of everything
But none of her.
Who were you?
This, especially, I love:
I search, vision blurred
Two of everything
But none of her.
Excellent poetry, and wonderful tale. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks
