Sometimes,
I just lay here,
my thoughts take me on a ride.
up and down that roller coaster,
I wonder sometimes how I survived.
Slowly, so slowly bad times pushed me up,
that long, hard drive until I was teetering at the top,
then it came crashing down,
speeding out of control,
and as the sharp turns of life made me think I might fall,
everything just came to a stop,
my mind went blank,
filled with nothing,
once again.
