Permanence....Shoals of laughter,
Layered in deep blues, dawning reds and oh such a lovely pink
...Hands wrapt in flesh, fingers
Talon'd and dug
Who held her fast as the swaying boughs kept their shilling
nay , shrilling turn....
He sat and watched and Made Others too
....Sit ...
the table covered in pales shades of flesh,
skin tympanic and stretched taut,
Did He make those drums finally, as promised
....Steel canisters, tumbolas and tombulas
...Tablas and Dhuns....
Come together then and strike discordant notes
...The pigs rooted and found....
long , never-ending streams
...Filled and overflowed...
who knew that was how long it took
....What is known is death comes slowly and then creeps ....
but pigs know best
....Snorting and rooting..
.Mine dogs are walked each eventide
....as she does the turn and then the skies
fill in bursts of sound
...those cloud kiss't lips and unyielding Ones...
will she find that cleaven path to her place
....try He does to bring her home....and slowly She does.....
