Oh, don't blame me
when the roses
you've posed on your bureau,
keep you up, late at night
clamoring.

Oh, don't blame me
when it's a sin
with the lilies you've left
beneath your bed
decomposing;

And it's a mess,
and it's such a mess,
of pistil and stamen.

I didn't believe him

How did you manage to sneak two poems on here under my nose? I thought our little buddy was joking. This is one of my favorites of yours, so that's the new info.
