Rule 4

A touch of your hand,
A lingering caress starting at my finger tip, teasingly up my arm and ending on my lip,
Silencing my words of protest,
Rule 4 baby… Rule 4.

Trust,
That is what is needed to exist in this world,
This space of you and me,
And what I lack in even myself.

All the beauty,
All the shame,
All the insecurities,
All of Us, You and Me.

Shy kiss,
Frightened eyes,
Knowing hands,
Understanding what makes me who I am.

I get so scared at times,
Confused and bewildered,
Just wanting…Wanting
You. Simply you.

All the beauty,
All the shame,
All the insecurities,
All of Us, You and Me.

And through it all…Rule 4 baby, Rule 4,
You never leave, you never change,
Like my love for you,
You remain strong and constant.

All the beauty,
All the shame,
All the insecurities,
All of Us, You and Me.

Thank you,
For loving me the way you do,
Thank you eternally,
For letting me love you…
