One dream
Goes something like this.
I’m running on the beach
In the intertidal zone
The crashing waves
And thick morning air
Cloaked in mist.
An unseen energy
Emanates from below
The billowing expanse
Of dark water.
A powerful force
Born in the depths
And rippling in small bits
To the surface.
I feel the pulse
Of the mighty Pacific
A pounding pulse
Not unlike our own.
We are part of this world
And this energy
Our hearts are locked together
In the rhythmic joy of loving
Creating a new synergy
A union of minds
And melding of souls
A unique entity
For us to nurture and to grow
To breathe in and give life
To have and to hold
And to remember
For all eternity.
Don’t cry for me when I am gone.
I always will
Be part of you
As you always will
Be part of me.
