The moon refused to shine today
Maybe because it hasn't seen your face
High up in your tower with locks and chains
You hide from the world, you hide from me

I tried to reach you
But can you hear me from down below
Even if you can
I can seem to not find a hint from you

But truth be told, I miss you badly
I wish to take away the Miss
And Mrs You proudly

You sure do know how to make a man weak
In the knees, in the chest,
Butterflies in the belly of the beast

Maybe these days one you ll come out and play
I'm getting tired of this hide and seek game

Before this you loved to play Tag
Catch me if you can you gave a Dare gag
Faster than a shuttle
At a point I tought I caught you
But you are slippery than a slope
You let my heart go

I miss you as a lover
I miss you as a friend
When I was in a mess
You helped me lay my bed
You never fuss or fight
My gentle mighty lover
I miss the sound of your breathing
So hush hush under covers

The moon refused to shine tonight
It hasn't seen your face
I sit among the clouds sometimes
Waiting for the rain

Each drop of it a piece of me
Your roof top and your window sill

Pray soon will come
A day not long
The moon will shine as the water pours
And then you ll be out
Staring at the clouds
Dancing in the rain
Finally, I can see your face.
