As I grasp two handfulls
Of the sturdy, yet soft cotton fabric
Of your sweater

I can smell your scent, so intoxicating
Soothing mixture of after shave,
Perspiration, masculinity
Enfolding me, comforting me

And for the moment
Nothing exists for me but you
A moment of calm
In the storm that is reality

As well for men, to smell his woman's perfume, still, later in the day, offering a moment of solace and calm.
