To Winter's mount, I came with distant friend
To search out love, so my poor heart could mend,
But glance, a wink, her face caressed my eyes.
My heart's caesura guessed the Fate's device.

A key in hand, as one we strode our path
The ice and snow bowed down to passion's wrath
As I fell into sweet arms, begging more,
We warmly laughed and open'd our rustic door.

A spark enflamed, the fireplace warmed the room.
Old wine and talk soon made our hearts go zoom.
As comfort bathed, our postures lay reposed.
So near your face, I thought I must have dozed.

The fire's warm flame to light the gentle face
Of loving, quiet charm, my heart did race.
Our minds coalesce. Our damp desire aglow.
A spark, a kiss - so light, how could I know?

Hot licking flames roar high. The shadows dance
While hands and fingers softly take their chance.
An urgent sigh escapes as moans rise quick.
"My love, I'm scared," I say with eyes grown thick.

Her skiing tongue, a slalom's race run slow.
Through curves, down slopes, my body's senses go.
Beneath cisalpine view, she watched me burn
'Til finish crossed; my heart of gold she'd earn.

A man's hard love can force a worthy end,
But Sappho's touch will bring my heart to mend.
