Those Happy Days

Together with each other
the fortune was boundless.
Together with friends
the fortune was joyfully shared.
Your body belonged to me
but together with others
I admired it still more.

Way Out

Triumph in front of the first bend,
straightaway bordered with hesitation,
effete in the uphill slope,
downhill in full assurance.

Far going and without a turning space
the narrow way will be
between intention and action.

Declining

When the energy no more is replenished
in the rate being required.
When raising and moving disappear.
When fingers are tumbling, feet are groping,
and ladders are ungetable.
When the thought is failing and disappearing.
Not until then.

Somewhere the dividing line goes.

Pretension

Scratch after scratch are exposed
in the web of life and life is complaining.
Fool appears and pretends repairing.
It's trying for torn to be living,
pretended nice days to be used,
think forwards, quick winding and grinding!

Metamorphosis

That morning
no steps dare creaking below you,
no shower succeed damping you,
and no mirror admitting you.

That morning
you are embraced.

Concern

It's getting dark, I'm not there.
Who will listen, who will alleviate,
who will protect, who will prevent?
I really did want you more than this!
