after sacrificial surrender
to my own
solitude
lying alone
bedded beside
the man
was warm
a sincere
comforting
touch came unexpectedly
from the loving
hand placed gently
upon my waist
the hand removed itself
the warmth remained
basking in thee
physical memory
felt ghostly
upon my flesh
sleeping soundly
awaking peacefully
feeling thee
solitude
somehow had been
broken
