She lies awake, beneath the satin sheets in the still of the night,
eyes open to uncertainty.

In the shadows of the darkness, and the still that looms in the room,
she knows not what she'll see.

The silence excites her, as does the obscurity of being alone,
for this can become part of her fantasy.

The silence, the cold, and the tranquility take her breath away,
anticipating the excitement of the feeling of ecstasy.

The room, she knows, is cold; she can see her breath, but beneath the sheets,
she knows she is warm within her treasure.

Just thinking of the possibilities and feeling alone stimulate her;
she knows what she has, and what she has to give for her true pleasure.

She begins to dream with her eyes wide open, that she knows what she wants,
but she does not have, what is not available for her to cherish.

So, she brings forth the image before her eyes, a shadow in the night,
to bring her the jewel that she so desires to relish.

In the bitter calm of the hours of darkness, the presence of the unknown,
she can feel the quiver in her body, the exhilaration in the air.

Her treasure throbbing with excitement now, she's ready to explode;
the jewel is there for the taking, but does she dare?

Yes, she does dare, kicking back the sheets, exposing her sparkling treasure,
as the coolness of the opportunity arouses every fiber within her.

Eyes wide open; she seeks control over the shadow of the night;
she has the power to arouse the jewel to fulfill her plight.

She does so with great satisfaction, with one touch of her gem,
discharging all her emotions with a gasping moan.

Expectancy is intensely heightened; she can't believe what she has just done.
For the first time in her life, she has been able to satisfy herself on her own.

Only now he steps out from behind the curtains;
he has been watching her shining jewel raise her to ecstasy.

The sight of her peaking alone excites him;
knowing she is more ready than ever to take him.

She watches him with a new, wanton lust;
both realizing this is a new beginning, a new dimension to their pleasure.
