You make me stand in the corner,
And expect me to say sorry,
For something I wanted to do,
Don’t treat me like a child,

That’s the last thing I am,
Don’t act like you’re better than me,
You’ve done that too many times already,
I won’t be here to see you crumble,

I won’t stay around when,
You’re not what I want anymore,
I don’t need this kind of heartache,
I don’t need you telling me who I should be,

I don’t want to be like you,
I’m not that twisted or cruel,
You once said this to me,
“It’s hurt or be hurt”,
“It’s play them or be played”,

I can’t hurt you just because
I’m scared of being hurt,
It’s not a case of you or me,
It’s a case of right or wrong,

I can’t play someone,
Ive been played too many times,
I can’t inflict that kinda pain,
I’m through playing your game.
