Don't listen to your elders, darling - they
are disillusioned, weatherbeaten, grey;
they can no longer take the bright array
of youth and see no sense in play.

The house lights are all lit for them, the stage
is just a cardboard sham, the house a cage...
But relishing in truth makes you no sage -
it only shows you're down with age.
