Through toil and tears
My journey began
Wicked hours
Too much for the sane

Family friends and loved ones
Lost in the maze
Vision grow blurry
No end in sight
What price to pay
Yet fortune and fame
Seem moon years away

Heartwrencing cries
Bellows of pain
Disaster has struck
My heart can no more

Used and abused
Scorned by the chase
To receive glory and gain.
