I Stand Upon The Mountain Side

I Feel My Heart Beating Full of Pride

High Above in The Clear Blue Sky

The Golden Eagle Soars on High

Down Below Amongst The Purple Heather

The Hare Hides, From The Majestic Predator

For High Above In The Sky

The Golden Eagle Lets Out A Cry

Over Waterfalls And Through The River Waters

The Salmon Return to Home Grown Waters

Looking Down Into The Glen Below

I See Down By The River a Graceful Doe

Alas For Me Im Out Of Luck

For There is No Sign Of The Majestic Buck

As I Walk Down Into The Glen

I Look Behind Me Once Again

My Heart Is Filled With Pride Again

As I See The Majestic Monarch Of The Glen

A Flash Of Red A Wisp Of White

Once Again He's Out Of Sight

As I Head For Bed Under Darkening Skies

The Tears Well Up Beneath My Eyes

There I Rest In My Secret Place

I Thank God for What Ive Got

For Im Proud To Be A Scot!.
