Searching for a rock
That never ending quest
Pressures on the mind
Love no longer best
What is it she wants from me?
Does she even care?
I'm a trophy on her wall of life
And I'm pulling our my hair

A shitty piece of glass
Imitation of our love
A wedding and a family
Dreams don't equal trust
A dozen dirty diapers
Decaying like our life
Teeth that fall away
From a man that beats his wife

I used to really love her
I used to really care
We're victims of our own demise
And it's brooding like a bear

Where to go from here
I used to think our love would grow
We've wasted all these years
The children they all plead
Those snot nosed little fucks
I see they're just like the bitch
My wife who brought them up

Searching for a rock
The times how they have changed
My lawful and beloved wife
Her spirit's gone away
I'm left alone and wandering
My life has gone astray
The world seems so empty
An empty warn place

I'm gathered with my children
Her tombstone lies below
I hand my daughter the engagement ring
As I perish ever slow
The darkness now consumes me
My wife she waits ahead
Our destiny is now fulfilled
As we both are dead
