Coarse sand
Sun sears skin
Sea sweeps in
Out again
Left behind
Sparkling shells
Silver bells
Mermaid’s hair
Hidden in pools
Shy crustaceans
Lurking beneath
Green tinged reef
Paradise found.

Paradise found, indeed.

beachtime.

Brings back so many peaceful happy memories ~ watching the tide roll in with it's special little murmur ~ perhaps with someone special ~ at the time. What a lovely poem.

Along with the illustration, your words paint a snippet picture with elements from the shore.
