Don't try to hold on to somethin' that don't want to be held.
Tryin' to hold on to a season,
End up with nothin' but hell.

Started out right,
Heat of passion so nice.
Now all you got is nothin' but ice.

But like ice, seasons fade, like bruises.
Every season has a time,
Every person, their uses.

My experiences shape me.
Help make me a better me.

They encourage me,
To do me.
So I can live happily?
Ever after... Not sure.

But what I won't do is make,
Another seasonal mistake!
And that's for DAMN sure.
