To my critics; *All* my poems rhyme. If you don't like rhyming poems, stop reading.
Makes sense.

Sometimes it's so hard to breathe
When I see the things you do
Sometimes your love is so hard to believe
Makes me wonder what I see in you

Your heart is not completely with me
Though you say that's simply not true
The proof is right there in what I see
And it leaves me so very blue

Someone else holds your heart
In her tender cute little hand
Pulling away? Yeah, you start
Then backpedal like you're in quicksand

I feel like I come second in your world
I am always stepping back
To let her come between us
So now tell me what I lack

Little things you do hurt me so much
And I don't think that you see
That I need to be the only one you touch
I need you to break free

Caught between two needs,
You're in a spot, to be sure
But somewhere in all the mess lies the seed
Of something true, strong and pure

The time will come when you need to come about
And I hope you do what's right
Prove to me beyond a shadow of a doubt
Let me see what is waiting in the light

My love is deep and so very strong
But the constant abuse it gets with what I see
It will be too much before too long
Then you will mourn the loss of me.
