He snuck to his secret hiding place.
A place that he had found.
A warm place where he knew no one
was around.
He'd go there to clear his mind and feel complete, relax, breathe and kick up his feet.
He was for sure that he was the only that knew
that this place even existed.
He came back the next day and something was different.
A missing door? A broken window? Who was in my space? Only I should know.
The walls won't speak, but he can see
that someone was here that wasn't meant to be.
No longer unknown and that's the truth.
Someone knows other than you.
But ne'er shall they come near the secret place.
This is only your secret space.

Nice, gentle poem. The wording and rhythm fit the title. A metaphor for infidelity perhaps?
