you turn to me
when all is still
and the night swallows all sound
and i'm amazed at the frantic heart
beating so noisily in my chest
the quickening of breath
and the sharp pain that envelopes me
with the cold steel of the knife
that slides over my breast
lust welling like blood
to dribble lazily over me
and brings a slow warmth
i'm lost in the seduction
the lazy laughter ripples
as i realize
you hold my life in your hands
