At first there is innocence.
The total oblivious absence of knowledge.
Then comes that first temptation,
The first taste of pleasure
That makes it known that there is
Something out there, something more.
Addicting to the senses
Robbing one of that innocent oblivion
From which there is no return.
One taste of the heated pleasure
And one is forever changed,
Enslaved to the pursuit of that
Which the mind realizes as a need
As strong as breathing is to the body.
Seduction complete, innocence lost forever.
