lure of curves
she lie
like silken ribbon

limbs branch open
wet

hard wood erect
protruding flooded pool
upward
dripping
from stumpy tip

swell and rise
then descend
again
and again

eternal
seductive river!

less is more.....

I was just curious, how can a "flooded pool" protrude? I have difficulties visualizing that! Otherwise, an economy of words, delightfully placed. You are quite the poet!
