where jasmine minds
and magnolias whisper
through blue smoke, the
color of writerly ghosts
still tipsy at the bar
you won’t resist
while voodoo croons...
swallowed whole, like
an oyster peppered
with jazz

your words so carefully and they mesh to make a small painting.

A moving painting

beautiful as always.

I love the "writerly ghosts still tipsy at the bar"

that image alone wrapped it up for me.
