Confused by stereographic images,
My eyes, squinting and unfocused
Urge my brain to leap
Across perceptual chasms
Which keep plane images
From three-dimensionality.
"Start close, then slow away
Will spur the brain to see."
But time and effort fail for me:
To disarrange chaotic imagery.

But others make the leap, and see.

Eyes scanning words and lines of poetry
Implore my mind to transcend
Mundane physicality,
Strive to view a higher plane,
A deeper glimpse of truth.

But only sometimes do I comprehend.
