SELF PORTRAIT
I'm a bum down by the beach, I'm a beach bum,
I am keen for all new faces who come,
Every comrade carrying dope in his rack-sack,
Every girl as a potential hot fuck.
I have left my wife and home some years ago,
Cause I thought that there was more that I could know,
Well, there was, but everything has got a price,
It depends on how lucky was your dice.
For my dice and my luck I can't complain,
For the knowledge the price was some pain,
So, to have and to have not is my estate,
And to give it up it is perhaps too late.
