------A Kyrielle Sonnet------

The time goes by as we grow old,
But funny things are being told.
Until we met I had no clue.
I loved you before I knew you.

Fair eyes, nice smile, soft lips, and then
A pair of arms to hug me when
I felt bad -- was the list I drew.
I loved you before I knew you.

That autumn night when we would meet,
Star-crossed it was, we felt the heat
As two hearts beat as one not two
I loved you before I knew you.

Somehow a spark between us flew --
I loved you before I knew you
