I breathe again her gentle love

That brings my spirit life

As this … my sweet serenity

Descends from lips above

What harm would now befall me

At rest in her repose

As wavering shadows near

The fading light to close

Gently now I lay my head

Upon my lovers breast

And close these eyes to the light

There seek my pleasant rest

INSPIRED...

to take of the spirit within her

from all that I remain,

to fill a heart with visions,

yet leave my soul in pain..

should I swallow, or refrain.

you have a way with words,

I was amazed at only 2 poems from you??

now, YOU NEED TO GET WRITING !!!

and eat more peaches ! lol...

Wow

Absolutely Beautiful! If this is your first effort, I can't wait to read anything, and everything, else that you write!
