When it comes
it lands like a bomb
deep as an ocean
hot
like a hilltop on Mercury

Catching it in an oven mit
barely
I admire the glow
flame bright in the dark

Afterwards
turning it over & over
Vibrations
shake up my arm

You want to hold it
play a game
of coochy-coo
scent of fresh flowers
smooth as dew drops
on soapy velvet

I know better

Hook it to a monitor
& crack it open
-have a look inside

Squiggling & squirming
See what makes it tick

Attach jumper cables
& have your fill
now we can smile all week

Barter
bits & pieces
at a discount price
& I'll mold whats left
stuffed & mounted

Bidding begins
