I Occupy This Space Called A Body
My Soul Is Trapped Within Its Shell
As A Bird Imprisoned To A Cage
I Yearn The Freedom To Fly
Yet I Have Lost My Wings
The Freedom I Once Felt
In A Distant Memory
The Shadows Over Take Me
And I Learn To Live Within The Darkness
I Taste The Blood And Savor The Flesh
I Feel The Urges That Are Indescribable
My Dreams Of Yesterday Have Vanished
And Now I Live In The Night
Dreaming No More, But Living In A Nightmare
Controlled By Forces Once Thought Of As Foe
Now Considered My Brethren
The Need To Exist Is All I Know
I Feed On The Melodies Of The Demons
That Scream Inside My Soul
Their Pleasure Is My Pain
Yet I Fight To Be Free
Free To Roam And Hunt On My Own
But Still They Restrain Me
Screaming Out For Freedom, Never Heard
Their Chains And Shackles Hold Me Tightly
Yet The Pain No Longer Hurts, Left Is Only A Dull Ache
So I Carry On, Searching And Hoping
Hoping To Find An End To This Night
Where I Live In The Shadows Of My Former Self
And Discover Me Once Again
