There once was a monster
who haunted my dreams,
massive and ugly,
and feasting on screams.
it had broken-glass teeth
and rusted finger-nails,
a thousand snearing minions
with a thousand pointed tails;
it had a back was arched
with spines all along it,
and eyes that were black
and gleamed just a bit.

it roared horribly
as it stalked about,
it's mouth open wide
with razorblades
falling out.
behind layers of shadow
it had kept its face hidden,
'till i summoned my courage
and the monster was bidden.

illuminating the dark
with an old silver mirror,
shining in moonlight
so i could see clearer.
i threw light
on its' visage
and finally did see,
that all along
that monster was me.

We are all monster my dear...

Not the greast and not the the worst either some where in between, don't sweat it I know you did your best and that is all it counts. I'm just not sure about the begining 'Once Upon a Time' part. WHAT IS THIS A FAIRY TAIL OR A POEM??
