Shakespeare and I stanza 5

byiqespresso©

Shakespeare:

The moist star,
Upon whose influence Neptune’s empire stands. *

I:

The waxing moon removes the mystery of the woman,
Illuminating the girl in full passions;
Wet with desire;
Her haystack on fire. **

Her man of the sea,
Older though he maybe,
Ripples made edifice,
By the scent of her billowing obsession.

*Hamlet, Act 1 scene 1

**Lady Chatterley’s Lover; D.H. Lawrence
