My heart now aches and I gasp for a breath
A beer, and a tainted cigarette
Become the nuance of my space
A room that coddles and treasures your essence and lingering scent
This is my reality, my remembrance
Too happy, to special, it will never escape
My eyes dance and follow shadows
That have toyed with these walls
Its an image, your picture and my loneliness that spill forth
When the world has become quiet
And I have nothing but to think
I undress to music that desires my flesh
The sound soothes and comforts the wondering thoughts about you
For we are separated
By a time and huge space
My bosom heaves and I hold it tight
This journey, this story and monumental love
Take over and own our friendship, special love
That haunt and feel always real
In this space
Containing moments, memories
A love so true, gentle
And a life loved with unending
Most precious eternal grace.
