Your soul in your eyes
Your heartbeat fills my ears
I tell you I love you
To appease your fears

Nightmares haunt
The sleeping hours
And when I'm awake
I'm entwined in your powers

I have taken all I can
I have sacrificed my soul
I have thrown love
Into the hole

Your heart is empty
You do not feel
And I am left to wonder
If this is real

One day I will leave
You'll beg me to stay
I'll walk out the door
And go far, far away.

I am a broken soul
My love is shattered
You could have repaired it
Because you were all that mattered
