Shattered Ilusions

byPVodogaz©

I thought we would always be together,
Or was it just my hopes and wanting?
Was what we had just an Ilusion?
Borne from dream gone awry?

I sit here on the floor, lost,
looking at pictures, remembering,
flashbacks to a time when i had you,
and we were happy.

I look at pictures tossed on the floor,
our radiant smiling faces looking at each other,
I remember thinking to myself then,
that we'd always be together,
but i was wrong, how wrong i was.

Shattered dreams, shatters Ilusions
It's the end of one section of my life,
that door closes, another begins to open.
