quietly she waits,,
kneeling,,,aching for his command
for the soft or the harsh touch of his hand

her heart flies to his service
eager,,, wanting,,, nervous

for the want of his pleasure
this is His to take, His Will
measure by measure

he is firm, quick and kind
she surrenders
as she gives him her mind

He pushes taking the lead
for He knows this is what she needs

He takes, she gives
this is where their souls live

the rod; the cane; the lash;
these are but tools be be used upon her back
she is grateful for each one
when the day is done.

thank you is her only cry
